About Me

Hi! I'm Sharon Pye, a photographer residing in New Orleans with my wonderful husband Charlie, our beautiful daughter Ada, and our little dog Bennie. When i'm not photographing, I love to cook, explore nature, and pretty much relax and enjoy life with friends and family. I daydream quite often and get lost in the details and beauty of the world. Photography has always been my passion, and I love telling stories through imagery. I am happiest when I am creating, especially through photographs, and remain forever grateful to be able to call photography my profession.

My Work

My wedding photography style is documentary and candid. I love capturing true, honest, and genuine moments. The in-between moments that are unguarded and portray real emotion is what excites me the most. I embrace natural light and even darkness and blur at times. I love portraits as well, and capture a wedding day with a mix of timeless portraiture and photojournalism. I want my photos to depict who you truly are and tell your unique story. I want you to look back at your photos and remember the joy and warmth of your wedding day between you and your loved ones.
